Here’s your version rewritten in that same **personal, story-driven blog style**: --- ## howdy this is where i’ll be posting anything tech related. expect write ups from ctfs, courses and cert reviews, and the occasional conference post. ## socials twitter: ShadmanBashir linkedin: shadmanbashir email: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) --- ## corporate i didn’t start out seeing cybersecurity as a career. it was just curiosity. i liked understanding how systems worked, and more importantly, how they broke. things like how accounts get compromised, how data is protected, and how attackers think always pulled me in. over time, that curiosity turned into something more serious. what started as just messing around and learning on the side became something i wanted to properly pursue, which is what led me to study cybersecurity at the University of Technology Sydney. i’m still figuring out where exactly i want to specialise, but that’s part of the appeal. cybersecurity is broad, constantly evolving, and there’s always something new to learn. --- ## individual outside of security, i’d say i’m a bit of a hobby collector. i like having things that pull me away from a screen and keep things balanced. i tend to rotate between: - photography (flickr: shadmanbashir) - calisthenics - bike riding - rc cars - reading i also have a growing interest in astronomy and aviation, and i’m keen to get into gliding at some point, even though it’s a pretty expensive hobby. --- ## final note at the core of everything, i’m just driven by curiosity. whether it’s cybersecurity, tech, or something completely unrelated, i like understanding how things work and pushing myself to learn something new.
